Everything you need to know about cloaked links, encryption, bot protection, and how Kloak keeps your audience — and your destinations — safe.
Kloak gives every creator a single bold link-in-bio page plus cloaked short URLs. Instead of sharing long, revealing links, you share clean short codes that hide the real destination and track every click.
Cloaking replaces your long destination URL with a short code that reveals nothing about where it points. Visitors see a neutral Kloak link, the true destination stays hidden until the redirect happens, and you keep full control to update or disable it any time.
Every destination URL is encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, an authenticated encryption standard that hides the URL and detects tampering. The short code you share is a random, opaque identifier that maps to your destination only on our servers, so scrapers reading the link text learn nothing about where it leads. If stored data is ever altered, decryption fails closed and the link simply won't resolve.
Every redirect is screened for automated traffic. Known crawlers, scrapers, headless browsers, and link-preview fetchers are served a no-index notice instead of being redirected to your destination, and those hits are excluded from your click counts. Search engines are also told never to index a cloaked code, so your short links stay out of search results and your destinations aren't harvested in bulk.
Yes. We collect only what's needed to run your links and show you analytics. We don't sell your data, and your account is protected with secure password hashing and session management. You control what contact details appear on your public page.
No. Your links stay live as long as your account is active. You can edit the destination, hide a link from your bio, or delete it whenever you like, and the short code keeps working until you remove it.
Absolutely. Your dashboard shows real-time click counts for every link so you can see what your audience actually engages with, all without exposing the destination URLs publicly.
You can create your link-in-bio page and start cloaking links for free. Get started in seconds — no credit card required to claim your Kloak.
